There's so much to know! It's a lot to take in all at once, and it's going to take us some time to learn everything we need to know about about Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
I can tell you already that some of the information is very technical, and watching Scrubs hasn't really prepared us to understand medical terminology. But there are excellent resources out there, so for those of you who want to take this learning journey with us, here are links to a couple great resources we've found:
American Cancer Society
This link takes you to a page with information about how childhood leukemia is treated.
National Marrow Donor Program
This link will take you to the site's Patient Resources section, with information about the signs and symptoms as well as therapy options.
WebMD
